got the time?

So I haven't posted anything in a while.. and before I came across this new invention.. a watch that tells the approximate time...

It displays a text and number message, such as 'slightly after 6', and 'nearly 6.45'

In other news, I went watching The Fall, a few weeks ago, which was, to say the least, an experience.. and then last night was Belle and Sebastian..

I think, had I been one of the two girls that got pulled up on to stage in the encore, to sing 'Lazy Line Painter Jane', I would have wet myself with excitment..

Sadly, I am a terribly singer, and I was nowhere near the front of the stage. At least I could see throughout the entire gig though, which has to be a first for me...

stars of CCTV

The government has come up with a great new idea, which brings George Orwell's 1984 to life. If it isn't bad enough that we are constantly monitored wherever we go as it is, now they're bringing CCTV to your tv screens.

That great mind that is John Prescott, announced that so called 'Asbo TV', will enable you folks to watch live CCTV footage from the comfort of your very own homes..

Some think it could make TV shows such as The Bill obselete, and it gives viewers the chance to report any wrong doers that they may see to report the crimes to the police..

It's interactive tv gone mad.

Specs appeal

As if it isn't bad enough, trying to avoid collisions with other passers by who are using their mobiles, who don't give you even so much as a second glance, let alone an apology should they bump in to you when you're walking along the streets, now there's a new gadget on the market.

Orange and Samsung have now collaborated and come up with Micro-Optical glasses. They cost £200 and enable you to watch your favourite films, new bulletins or even play video games whilst wearing them.

Apparently though, these visors have been designed to see above and below the image, so that they can still walk along or even make a cup of tea whilst wearing them.

They're on sale in France now, Britain will follow shortly selling them from later on in the year. Personally I think that they're a bit of a daft idea. If people have enough trouble concentrating on where they're going when they're just on the phone.. how will they manage when watching a film whilst taking a stroll?

Sprouts anyone?

Anyone care for some brussel sprouts?

Now you can get them at your favourite auction site. Yes that's right, brussel sprouts have become the latest thing to become available on ebay.

Unwanted Christmas dinners with all the trimmings are going for thousands, one managed to attract a bid of £7600 and there's one little brussel, going by the name of Nicholas, that's listed at £1550 and preferably would like to go to a nice home in Belgium, it lays claim to be the 'original ebay sprout'.

Obviously some people have never heard of Tesco.
